Crazy Time at VegasNow: the wheel, the bets and the wagering
Crazy Time is Evolution's presenter-led money wheel, and it sits in our live lobby with four bonus games and a Top Slot that can attach a multiplier to one bet spot each round. We explain how a round plays out, what the published figures mean, how a stake counts toward a bonus at 10% and where the A$8 limit bites, with worked numbers throughout.
Crazy Time at VegasNow: the published figures
Crazy Time appears among the game shows in our live casino. Below are the numbers that are actually published for it, and who publishes each one. Where a figure is missing, no verified number exists, and we would rather leave the gap than fill it with a guess.

Prize ranges inside each bonus game, and the odds shown for the number spots, are displayed in the game itself. They are not repeated here because the version you open is the one that settles your bet.
How a Crazy Time round runs
Rounds repeat in a fixed order and the presenter keeps them moving, so it pays to know the sequence before your first chip goes down.
1. Pick your spots
While betting is open, choose from the grid. There is a spot for every number on the wheel and one for each bonus game. Every spot you cover is a separate bet carrying its own stake.
2. Top Slot fires
Before the wheel decides anything, Top Slot pins a multiplier, as high as 50×, to one bet spot for that round only.
3. The wheel spins
The presenter spins and the pointer settles on a single segment. If it is a number, chips on that number are paid and every other spot loses.
4. Bonus round or settlement
If the pointer lands on a bonus game, anyone with chips on that bonus spot plays the bonus round, and its outcome is applied to their stake. Chips everywhere else lose.
The rule to keep in mind: a round has exactly one winning segment. Covering more spots makes each round dearer without ever adding a second winner.
Number spots, bonus spots and Top Slot at VegasNow
Number spots
A number spot pays when the wheel stops on that number, at the odds the game displays for it. If Top Slot has marked that spot for the round, its multiplier is applied to the win.
Bonus spots
A bonus spot has no fixed payout. Landing on it opens the bonus round, and what happens in that round decides the return on your stake. Of the four, the Crazy Time bonus has the largest published ceiling. Watching a bonus round is not the same as being in it: only chips on that particular bonus spot take part.
Top Slot
Treat Top Slot as a label rather than a prize. It is stuck to one spot before the spin and only counts if that same spot then wins. On a spot that loses, it is worth nothing at all.
The help panel inside the game explains how Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and the Crazy Time bonus each play out. We keep to what Evolution publishes, because the panel for the edition you open is the authority.
Reading the RTP range and the 20,000× ceiling
Evolution states Crazy Time's return to player as a range, 94.41% to 96.08%, rather than a single figure. The spread tells you the long-run return is not identical for every way of betting on the wheel. It does not tell you which end your session will resemble, and neither end is a promise. RTP is an average over an enormous number of rounds; one evening can finish well above or well below it.
The 20,000× figure is a different kind of number. It is the most the Crazy Time bonus can pay, the rarest outcome on offer, and not something to plan a budget around. RTP describes the average of everything that can happen; the ceiling describes the single best thing that can happen.
Evolution also makes clear that earlier results do not predict the next spin. The history strip on screen is a record, not a forecast, and a bonus game that has not appeared for a while is no more due than it was an hour ago.
Worked examples with the published Crazy Time figures
Three examples, each built only on figures Evolution publishes, with stakes of our own choosing.
The top of the range
A$0.50 sits on the Crazy Time spot. The wheel lands there and the bonus reaches its published maximum of 20,000×. The return is A$10,000. That is the outer edge of what the game can do, and nothing about the wheel makes it likelier on any given spin. If a deposit bonus was active at the time, note that A$5,000 is the most that can be cashed out from that offer.
Backing all four bonus games
A$1.50 on each bonus spot costs A$6 a round. A number lands and all four lose, so the round costs A$6. A bonus lands and one A$1.50 stake goes into the bonus round while the other A$4.50 is lost. No round can ever pay more than one of the four.
A big label on a losing spot
Top Slot puts 50× on Cash Hunt, where you have A$3. The wheel stops on a number you have not backed. The A$3 is lost and the 50× disappears with it, because a multiplier only acts on a bet that wins.
Keeping Crazy Time bets under the VegasNow A$8 bonus limit
Our general bonus terms cap any single bet at A$8 while a bonus is open. Crazy Time encourages you to spread chips across the grid, so we suggest a conservative reading: treat the combined total on every spot you cover in one round as the number to keep at or under A$8.
| Spread for one round | Total | Within A$8? |
|---|---|---|
| A$2 on each of the four bonus spots | A$8 | Yes, right at the limit |
| A$1.50 on each bonus spot plus A$2 on one number | A$8 | Yes, right at the limit |
| A$1 on each bonus spot plus A$4.50 across number spots | A$8.50 | No, A$0.50 over |
| A$3 on Crazy Time, A$3 on Cash Hunt, A$2.50 on Pachinko | A$8.50 | No, A$0.50 over |
| A$2.50 on one number and A$2.50 on Coin Flip | A$5 | Yes, with A$3 of room |
A wider spread does change one thing: wagering progress is 10% of everything staked, so an A$8 spread records A$0.80 a round and an A$5 spread A$0.50. Yet a wider spread still has only one possible winner, so most of those chips lose every round.
How VegasNow counts Crazy Time toward bonus wagering
Under our general bonus terms (26 February 2024 edition), each type of game moves a requirement at its own speed: eligible slots 100%, roulette 25%, game shows such as Crazy Time 10%, blackjack 10%, baccarat nothing at all. One dollar on the wheel is ten cents of progress.
The welcome package is valid across the casino and live casino, so Crazy Time is allowed. Take a deposit of A$70 at the first welcome stage: the 150% match is A$105 of bonus, and 40 times A$105 is A$4,200 to wager inside seven days.
| Played on | Rate | Stakes for A$4,200 | Rounds or spins at A$8 | Each day for a week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eligible pokies | 100% | A$4,200 | 525 | 75 |
| Roulette | 25% | A$16,800 | 2,100 | 300 |
| Crazy Time | 10% | A$42,000 | 5,250 | 750 |
| Baccarat | 0% | Does not count | None | None |
At A$2 a round the Crazy Time row becomes 21,000 rounds. Roulette titles such as Lightning Roulette sit on the 25% row. The table is arithmetic, not a forecast, and assumes every round is staked at the amount shown.
The usual conditions surround it. Only one bonus can be open, so the VEGAS2 stage waits its turn. Deposit-bonus winnings have an A$5,000 cash-out ceiling per offer. And our account terms ask for play equal to three times each deposit before linked funds can leave the account: A$210 on the A$70 here, whether or not you took the bonus.
Why game shows are the long road to clearing a VegasNow bonus
The rate does most of the damage. At 10%, the A$4,200 that eligible pokies clear with A$4,200 of stakes needs A$42,000 on the wheel. Same bonus, ten times the distance.
The clock does the rest. Every round waits for betting to close, for the spin and for any bonus game, while the seven days tick away. At the A$8 maximum each round adds A$0.80, so 5,250 rounds is the shortest path the terms permit.
The published RTP range also puts a long-run price on that path. Across A$42,000 of stakes, an average return between 94.41% and 96.08% points to an average loss of roughly A$1,646 to A$2,348, set against an A$105 bonus. That is an average over many players and many rounds, not a prediction for yours, and one session can land anywhere. It does explain why we do not suggest clearing a welcome bonus on the wheel.
- Decline it. If most of your play will be Crazy Time, our general terms let you turn the bonus down. The A$8 limit, the seven days and the 40× go with it; the account terms' three-times deposit rule stays.
- Clear it elsewhere. Do the bulk on eligible pokies at 100%. For example, 400 rounds of Crazy Time at A$2 is A$800 staked and A$80 of progress, leaving A$4,120 for the pokies.
- Save the wheel for sessions with no bonus attached. Then the only limits are the game's own.
Live blackjack shares the 10% rate, so it is no shortcut either; our live blackjack page runs the same sums for the card tables.
Crazy Time and VegasNow loyalty points
Our loyalty programme turns real-money play into redeemable points for the Loyalty Store and status points that lift you through seven Las Vegas-themed levels. The published earning table covers slots (one point per A$25), roulette (one per A$100), and blackjack and baccarat (one per A$250). It has no line for game shows, so the rate for Crazy Time is the one your account displays, and we will not guess at it.
The exchange side is published, and it rewards patience:
| Level | Points | Bonus | Value per point |
|---|---|---|---|
| Golden Glimmer | 200 | A$5 | 2.5 cents |
| Golden Glimmer, saved up | 2,000 | A$60 | 3 cents |
| Parisian Palace Las Vegas | 750 | A$20 | About 2.7 cents |
| Bella Vista | 100,000 | A$5,000 | 5 cents |
Every store bonus carries 40× wagering, and that is where the choice of game matters again. Saving 2,000 points for A$60 creates A$2,400 of requirement. Cleared on Crazy Time at 10%, that is A$24,000 of stakes, or 3,000 rounds at A$8; on an eligible pokie it is A$2,400. Taking those 2,000 points as ten lots of 200 would give A$50, so saving them is worth A$10 more. Thresholds for every level are on our loyalty and VIP page.
Crazy Time on a phone or tablet
The show streams straight into Safari or Chrome. We do not publish a native app through Apple or Google, and there is no VegasNow APK, so treat any download claiming to be one with suspicion. The video, the betting grid and the Top Slot display all fit a phone screen.
To launch it like an app, pin VegasNow to your Home Screen. On iOS, use the Share button in Safari and pick Add to Home Screen; with Open as Web App switched on, it opens without the browser bar. On Android, Chrome's menu has an install or shortcut option that does the same. Our mobile page shows each step.
Live video asks more of a connection than a pokie does, so stable Wi-Fi or a strong signal keeps the betting window and the spin in step. If the picture freezes, do not assume your bet missed the round. Check the history first, then send support the game title, the time and any round reference shown.
A VegasNow checklist before your first Crazy Time round
Two minutes with this list heads off the most common surprises at the wheel.
- Check for an open bonus. If one is running, every round is capped at A$8 across all spots and counts only 10% toward its requirement.
- Decide your spots in advance. Choose which numbers and bonus games you will back and the stake on each, so the betting timer is not where you make up your mind.
- Add up the round. Four spots at A$1.75 is A$7; five spots at A$1.75 is A$8.75, which is past the bonus limit.
- Set a round budget. At A$7 a round, an A$140 session budget lasts 20 rounds if nothing comes back. Knowing that number before you start makes it easier to stop.
- Open the help panel once. It explains each bonus game and shows the odds for the number spots in the edition you are playing.
- Set your deposit limit first. It takes a minute in the account, and it is far easier to choose a sensible figure before the presenter starts talking.
Common Crazy Time mistakes at VegasNow
- Planning around 20,000×. It is the published maximum of the Crazy Time bonus, not an expected result.
- Treating a Top Slot multiplier as money. It only pays if the spot it marks also wins.
- Assuming full wagering credit. Game shows count 10%, so A$4,200 of requirement means A$42,000 on the wheel.
- Letting the spread creep past A$8. With a bonus open, add up every chip in the round before the timer closes.
- Reading the history strip as a tip. Earlier spins have no say in the next one.
- Covering everything to lock in a win. One segment wins and the other chips lose, every single round.
- Taking a bonus you never meant to clear. It occupies the one bonus slot for seven days and caps your bets. Declining is allowed.
- Withdrawing right after a deposit. Three times the deposit has to be played first, or refusal or a processing fee can follow.
Keeping Crazy Time fun
Crazy Time at VegasNow is offered by Just Entertainment B.V., company 160603 in Curaçao, under licence OGL/2024/164/0246 granted by the Curaçao Gaming Authority; the validator page confirms it. Only adults aged 18 or over may play.
A game show is designed to hold your attention: lights, a presenter and a new round the instant the last one settles. Fix a spend and a stop time before the first round, add a deposit limit to your account, and walk away if a losing run tempts you to cover more spots or lift the stake. Self-exclusion is available from the account, and our responsible gambling page explains every option.
Gambling Help Online can be reached on 1800 858 858 and through its website. BetStop handles self-exclusion for Australian-licensed wagering providers; to take a break from VegasNow, use the tools inside your account.
Crazy Time at VegasNow: questions and answers
What is the RTP of Crazy Time?
Evolution states a range, 94.41% to 96.08%. It is an average across a vast number of rounds and bet choices, so no session is promised either figure.
How much does Crazy Time count toward a VegasNow bonus?
10%, the game-show rate in our general bonus terms. An A$8 round adds A$0.80 of progress, and an A$4,200 requirement needs A$42,000 of Crazy Time stakes.
Can I play Crazy Time with the welcome bonus?
Yes, the package covers casino and live casino games. Keep each round at A$8 or less across all your spots, and remember the bonus expires after seven days.
What is the biggest Crazy Time payout?
Evolution publishes up to 20,000× for the Crazy Time bonus, and Top Slot can attach up to 50× to one spot per round. Both are maximums, not typical outcomes.
Do earlier results help predict the next spin?
No. Evolution states that previous Crazy Time results do not predict the next spin. The history strip shows what has already happened, and a bonus game that has been absent for a while is not due to land.
Can I bet on several spots in one round?
Yes. Each spot is a separate bet with its own stake, but only one segment wins per round. With a bonus open, keep the combined total for the round at A$8 or less.
What does Top Slot do?
It pins a multiplier to one bet spot before the spin. If that spot wins, the multiplier applies to the win; if the spot loses, the multiplier is worth nothing.
Does Crazy Time earn loyalty points?
Real-money play earns points across our programme, but the published earning table lists only slots, roulette, blackjack and baccarat, so check your account for the game-show rate. Exchanges start at 200 points for A$5, with 40× wagering.
Is there a Crazy Time app for Australia?
Not from us. The game runs in Safari or Chrome on your phone, and a Home Screen shortcut makes it open like an app. We do not supply an APK.
